Job Description

AIX Admin Role

Administer and maintain AIX systems including LVM, HACMP ,VIO servers, and HMC. Perform OS upgrades and patching on AIX and Red Hat Linux systems. Configure and manage IBM Pacemaker clusters for high availability. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across AIX and Linux environments.

5-8 years of experience in IBM AIX Server Administration
Strong skills in installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting of all areas of IBM AIX Server including high availability, replication, disaster recovery, patching, backup & recovery, performance tuning, optimizing, and securing AIX Servers in a large environment.
Candidates should have extensive knowledge on IBM HMc and firmware upgrades, strong knowledge on AIX upgrades from 7.2 to 7.3 and Vio version upgrades, and excellent documentation skills.
