The main objective of the role is to contribute to our business growth by developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key business decision-makers, providing guidance/expertise/training on various valuation engagements and lead the team towards excellence in service delivery. Responsibilities Be part of our business valuation practice and work on a range of valuation engagements including valuations for financial reporting, tax reporting and compliance, intellectual property and intangible asset valuations. Develop and review valuation models of varying complexities for entities of different sizes operating across a diverse range of industries Work in a cooperative team analyzing client issues and recommending solution Prioritize your objectives and contribute to project execution and status reporting Provide guidance to, supervise and review the work of junior team members Directly liaise with and develop relationships with client and engagement team members Competencies and Experience In order to be considered for this role your competencies will cover the broad scope of valuation services, leveraging your professional background and skills such as: Completed undergraduate degree with outstanding academic credentials A professional designation including CA/CPA/MBA/CFA 3 to 5 years of relevant valuations work experience Sound grasp of MS Excel; a natural interest in working and learning to use it to an advanced level In-depth understanding of valuation principles Experience with purchase price allocation and impairment testing of goodwill and intangibles as per various accounting standards Advanced knowledge of using various research databases like CapitaliQ, Bloomberg, Factiva, Thomson etc. Excellent analytical, project management and teamwork competencies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proven business development and marketing techniques, and ability to pursue and close business growth opportunities Strong verbal and written communication skills Interest in working in a challenging and dynamic environment Strong commitment to professional client service excellence High-quality interpersonal skills, integrity and credibility
