Technical Documentation Engineer

As a Technical Documentation Engineer, your role involves creating and maintaining high-quality technical documentation in collaboration with system designers, developers, and engineers. You will translate complex engineering concepts into clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical documents. Your key responsibilities include: - Developing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation in line with organizational standards. - Gaining an in-depth understanding of company products and services to produce accurate and engaging engineering documentation. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to research, outline, write, and edit system design documents, process manuals, and flow diagrams. - Gathering inputs from subject-matter experts (SMEs) to develop technical specifications, procedure manuals, and process documentation. - Creating and maintaining system architecture and information templates to ensure consistency and compliance with documentation standards. - Working with development and support teams to manage documentation repositories, perform reviews, and ensure data accuracy and accessibility. - Designing and refining visual content such as diagrams, flowcharts, and technical illustrations for improved user comprehension. - Managing multiple documentation projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery and quality. Your qualifications should include: - Proven experience (3-5 years) as a Technical Documentation Engineer or in a similar technical writing role. - Strong ability to understand complex systems such as Turbine, UAV, or related technologies. - Excellent command of written and verbal English with keen attention to detail. - Proficiency in MS Office and technical documentation tools. - Understanding of SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle). - Strong collaboration skills with engineers and designers to enhance document clarity and structure. - Ability to manage multiple documentation streams across projects effectively. Additionally, preferred skills for this role may include: - Exposure to Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electronics systems documentation. - Experience with technical illustration tools and version control systems. - Strong visual design sense for creating flow diagrams and system layouts.,
