Social Media Intern (Pet Parent Preferred) - Part-Time/Side Hustle (Equity Only) Opportunity

About Purr: Purr is an innovative startup developing cutting-edge devices and apps for pet tracking, care and safety. We're on a mission to enhance the bond between pets and their parents through technology.

The Opportunity: We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Intern to join our team. As an integral part of our social media efforts, you will be responsible for developing engaging social media content, managing online campaigns, and fostering a vibrant online community around our brand. This unique role combines your professional skills with your love for pets, allowing you to contribute to the development of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the face of Purr online and in-person events.
• Grow our Instagram and Whatsapp channels.
• Create compelling social media content (posts, stories, videos) that educates, engages and promote Purr products.
• Develop and implement social media marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive user engagement.
• Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and maintain a positive online presence.
• Track what works, learn fast & iterate smarter.
• Analyze social media metrics and provide insights to optimize performance and reach.

Requirements:

• Must have a pet companion at home. (Deeply passionate about pets. Non-Negotiable!)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative, contribute innovative ideas and be up-to-date with latest social media trends.
• Self-driven, Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Ability to commit 15-20 hours per week initially, with potential for growth
