The Section Head will oversee engineering operations, manage projects, and lead the engineering team towards achieving organizational goals. The role involves driving efficiency in Biotech engineering processes, ensuring the seamless execution of key projects, and managing cross-functional communication. The candidate will also work collaboratively with other departments to optimize operations and uphold industry standards in biotech engineering.</p><p><br></p><p>· Engineering operation of Biotech Drug Substance plant and green & brown field Projects for Biotech Good understanding about biotech process and equipment used in Upstream and downstream processing.</p><p>· Engineering support and uninterrupted utilities to plant to achieve plant targets.</p><p>· All time Audit readiness of all plants in terms of environmental conditions in clean rooms, equipment functionality, and plant upkeep.</p><p>· Monthly presentations to Dept-Head to review/discuss the performance of respective plant / project in terms of (a) energy consumption, (b) breakdowns, (c) manpower utilization , (D) Project update – time lines & budget review.</p><p>· Regular participation in cross-functional team meetings.</p><p>· OPEX & CAPEX budgets preparation and ensuring no overruns due to oversight.</p><p>· Ensuring Good Engineering Practices are followed at all times in the plant and during project execution.</p><p>· Ensuring a zero-tolerance policy for data integrity issues (if any) in the department.</p><p>· Periodic review of engineering systems at site and taking corrective revisions, if required.</p><p>· Compliance to all regulatory & statutory requirements at plant & projects.</p><p>· Ensuring implementation EHS initiatives & improvement in EHS monthly index score.</p><p>· Identify and implementation of energy saving initiatives on site and projects.</p><p>· Implementation of corporate policies and initiatives on site.</p><p>· Ensuring GMP compliance in all plants in terms of environmental conditions in clean rooms, equipment functionality, and plant upkeep.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Skills & Competencies:</u></strong></p><p>· Strong knowledge of biotech processes and equipment for upstream and downstream operations.</p><p>· Expertise in project management for greenfield and brownfield projects.</p><p>· Proficiency in engineering systems, utilities management, and compliance standards.</p><p>· Leadership and team management skills with cross-functional collaboration experience.</p><p>· Strong analytical and budgeting skills (OPEX & CAPEX).</p><p>· Commitment to GMP, GEP, EHS, and data integrity standards.</p>
