Scrum Master (with Embedded / Firmware Experience)

<p><strong>Role Description</strong></p><p>We are a fast-paced automotive IoT startup building cutting-edge hardware products that connect</p><p>vehicles in physical world to the cloud. Our cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and</p><p>product managers is working at the intersection of embedded systems, wireless connectivity, and</p><p>user-centric innovation.</p><p><br></p><p>We are seeking a motivated Scrum Master with hands-on firmware development experience to</p><p>join our agile hardware/software team. This individual will play a key role in facilitating daily</p><p>Scrum meetings, ensuring team productivity, and helping bridge communication between the</p><p>development team and customers. Your technical background in embedded systems or firmware</p><p>is essential for supporting our engineering processes.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.</li><li>Guide the team on Agile principles, helping improve processes and performance.</li><li>Work closely with engineering teams (firmware, hardware, software) and quality teams to remove blockers and ensure sprint goals are met.</li><li>Act as a liaison between the development team and customers, ensuring clear communication of requirements, feedback, and deliverables.</li><li>Help manage the product backlog in collaboration with the product owner and technical leads.</li><li>Track and report team metrics (velocity, burn-down charts, etc.) to stakeholders.</li><li>Support engineers by understanding firmware development workflows, debugging cycles, and hardware-software integration challenges.</li><li>Identify and help resolve technical and organizational issues that may hinder team progress.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator, ideally in a startup or</li><li>hardware/software hybrid environment.</li><li>5+ years of experience in C/C++ firmware development for embedded systems and</li><li>microcontrollers.</li><li>Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and best practices.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to work across engineering and customer-facing roles.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.</li><li>Comfortable with Jira, Confluence, Git, or equivalent tools.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></li><li>Experience working in IoT or hardware startups.</li><li>Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.</li><li>Familiarity with wireless protocols (LTE, GNSS, BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRa), sensor interfacing, or RTOS environments.</li><li>Experience communicating with external partners or enterprise customers.</li></ul><p><br></p>
