Role Overview

The Growth Marketer will drive audience expansion, engagement, and brand visibility for a thought‑leadership project featuring high‑profile podcasts, a digital content platform, and social media channels. The role combines data‑driven experimentation with creative storytelling to scale reach, deepen audience loyalty, and position the project as a leading knowledge hub.

Key Responsibilities

Audience Growth & Acquisition

  • Develop and execute growth strategies to expand podcast listeners, website traffic, and social media followers.
  • Identify and optimise audience funnels across platforms (SEO, social, YouTube, podcast platforms, email).
  • Run experiments to improve downloads, views, CTRs, and subscriber growth.

Content & Channel Optimisation

  • Work with the content team to design highly shareable content formats (short clips, reels, quotes, micro‑content).
  • Optimise podcast SEO (episode titles, descriptions, tagging) to improve discoverability.
  • Improve website performance through landing page optimisation, lead magnets, and content distribution strategies.

Cross‑Platform Growth Campaigns

  • Plan and execute multi‑channel campaigns during podcast launches, guest announcements, and new releases.
  • Build partnerships and collaborations with influencers, communities, and aligned brands.
  • Drive referral, engagement, and retention strategies through newsletters, notifications, and community‑building.

Analytics & Insights

  • Track and analyse growth metrics across podcast platforms (Spotify/Apple), social media, and website analytics.
  • Set up dashboards to monitor downloads, engagement, conversion rates, CAC, LTV, retention, and virality metrics.
  • Use insights to refine strategies and continuously improve outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Graduates from IIT/IIM or other top‑tier institutions.
  • 3‑7 years of experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, or audience development.
  • Experience working with content‑led brands, media projects, podcasts, or community platforms is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, social media growth tactics, and analytics tools.
  • Ability to run growth experiments, optimise funnels, and interpret data.
  • Creative mindset to craft compelling narratives and content formats.
  • Familiarity with podcast platforms, creator economy trends, and digital storytelling.

Preferred

  • Experience growing a digital brand or content‑driven community from early stages.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools, CRM, podcast analytics platforms, and social media schedulers.
  • Ability to coordinate with design, content, video editing, and web teams.
