Quality Assurance Officer - Remote

Company Description ODE Consultants is an international BIM and MEP engineering consultancy for the built environment. We work on healthcare, education, residential, aviation, and commercial building projects, providing design support, BIM, and construction documentation support. This is a full-time remote role for a BIM QA/QC Specialist. The BIM QA/QC Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and control processes across all BIM deliverables. This role ensures that models meet project standards, comply with industry protocols, and support efficient collaboration among stakeholders.

Develop and implement BIM quality control procedures and checklists.
Conduct regular audits of BIM models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
Collaborate with BIM Coordinators and discipline leads to resolve modeling issues and improve workflows.
Maintain and enforce BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project-specific standards.
Solibri, Navisworks, Revit plugins) to validate geometry, data, and coordination.
Provide training and support to project teams on BIM quality standards and best practices.
Monitor and report on quality metrics, issues, and improvement opportunities.
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in BIM coordination or management, with a focus on quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in BIM tools such as Revit, Navisworks, Solibri, and AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 19650, PAS 1192, and other BIM standards.
  • Experience with Common Data Environments (CDEs) and model validation platforms.

Familiarity with digital twin technologies and data integration.
Experience in large-scale infrastructure or commercial projects.
Certification in BIM (e.g., building SMART, Autodesk Certified Professional).
Strong understanding of US and UK building codes, standards, and construction practices.
Must own a high-configuration computer system suitable for BIM software (e.g., 100% remote work flexibility.
