Procurement Manager, Strategic Sourcing

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Manager to lead their strategic sourcing initiatives. This is an on-site position based in Delhi, Delhi, IN . The Procurement Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive procurement strategies to ensure the acquisition of goods and services at the best possible value, quality, and delivery terms. You will manage the entire procurement lifecycle, from supplier identification and negotiation to contract management and performance monitoring. This role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain robust relationships with a diverse supplier base. Key responsibilities include conducting market research, performing supplier evaluations and audits, leading complex negotiations for major contracts, and driving cost-saving initiatives across all procurement categories. You will also be tasked with mitigating supply chain risks, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations, and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide effective procurement solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in strategic sourcing, category management, and vendor relationship management within a corporate environment. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and leadership abilities are crucial for this role. Experience with e-procurement systems and ERP software is highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for key categories of spend. Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies. Lead complex contract negotiations to achieve optimal pricing, terms, and service levels. Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement. Conduct market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks. Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement requirements and provide strategic support. Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement policies, procedures, and regulations. Manage the procurement budget and track savings against targets. Oversee the tender process from RFQ/RFP development to award. Develop and implement best practices in procurement and supply chain management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management. Demonstrated success in negotiating complex contracts and achieving significant cost savings. Strong understanding of global supply chains and market trends. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Experience in managing diverse supplier relationships. This role requires a strong presence at our Delhi, Delhi, IN office.
