Machinist

As a Mold Maker, your responsibilities will include: - Manufacturing, repairing, and maintaining injection molds, dies, jigs, and fixtures. - Setting up and operating conventional and CNC machining equipment such as milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, EDM (electrical discharge machines), and bench tools. - Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, CAD files, and tool designs to ensure accuracy in tooling production. - Performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on molds to minimize downtime. - Polishing, fitting, and assembling molds to meet production standards. - Collaborating with the production and engineering teams to improve mold performance and part quality. - Maintaining proper documentation of tool work, modifications, and maintenance history. - Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with safety and quality standards. - Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the tool room. Qualifications required for this role: - Previous experience in mold making or related field. - Proficiency in operating machining equipment such as milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, and EDM. - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD files. - Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
