Lead Scrum Master

Our client is seeking an experienced and influential Lead Scrum Master to guide multiple development teams towards exceptional performance and product delivery. This is a fully remote position where you will play a crucial role in establishing and upholding Agile principles across the organization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring the seamless execution of software projects. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of Agile frameworks, exceptional coaching abilities, and a proven ability to facilitate complex team dynamics in a distributed environment.
Responsibilities:Lead and coach multiple Scrum teams in adopting and refining Agile practices, primarily Scrum.Facilitate all Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives, ensuring they are productive and time-boxed.Identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress, escalating when necessary.Foster a collaborative, self-organizing, and high-performing team culture.Coach Product Owners on effectively managing the Product Backlog and maximizing value.Promote and facilitate cross-team communication and dependency management.Guide teams in understanding and implementing Agile metrics and reporting.Drive continuous improvement initiatives within and across teams.Mentor and guide other Scrum Masters, sharing best practices and insights.Support the Product Owner in maximizing the value of the product resulting from the work of the Development Team.Champion Agile values and principles throughout the organization.Contribute to organizational agility transformation efforts.Ensure transparent communication regarding project status, risks, and impediments to all relevant stakeholders.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline.A minimum of 8 years of experience in software development or related fields, with at least 6 years specifically as a Scrum Master.Extensive experience leading multiple Agile teams, preferably in a large-scale enterprise environment.Deep understanding and practical application of Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile methodologies.Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or similar advanced Scrum Master certification is mandatory.Excellent coaching, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and common development practices.Proven ability to work effectively in a fully remote, distributed team setting.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement and organizational change.This remote-first role is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Agile leader to make a significant impact on our client's software development landscape.
