Role - Jira & Atlassian Platform Administrator Experience - 4+ Yrs Location - Bangalore Responsibilities ● Administer Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Slack integrations. ● Manage user and group setup within Jira, Confluence, and Slack to ensure secure, role-based access. ● Formulate technical solutions using Atlassian tools and plugins to improve workflows and collaboration. ● Create and maintain Jira projects, filters, dashboards, and reports for multiple teams. ● Configure and maintain screen schemes, notification schemes, and permission schemes. ● Build and optimize custom workflows, post functions, and validators to support standardized delivery. ● Set up and manage Confluence spaces, templates, and permissions for documentation and project wikis. ● Design and manage Jira/Confluence dashboards to report metrics such as cycle time, SLA compliance, and release readiness. ● Serve as the Atlassian SME, driving adoption, troubleshooting issues, and implementing best practices. ● Provide user support, training, and documentation to improve self-service and platform literacy. ● Partner with backend and infrastructure teams to maintain 24×7×365 uptime and integrations (this role does not manage backend servers directly). Requirements ● 4–7 years of experience administering Jira Cloud, Jira Service Management, and Confluence. ● Robust understanding of Atlassian plugins, automation, and REST APIs. ● Proven ability to design custom workflows, dashboards, and automation rules. ● Hands-on experience with user/group management, project configuration, and permission governance. ● Familiarity with Agile and DevOps delivery practices. ● Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. ● Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, QA, and Ops.
