Industrial Automation Technician

Our client requires an experienced Industrial Automation Technician for their facility located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, IN . This hands-on role is critical to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our automated manufacturing systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of industrial control systems, robotics, and machinery. A strong background in electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, coupled with proficiency in PLC programming and HMI interface, is essential.

Key duties will include:
Installing, calibrating, and maintaining automated production equipment. Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and software issues on the factory floor. Performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize system performance. Reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals. Programming and configuring PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and SCADA systems. Working with robotic systems, ensuring their proper function and safety. Collaborating with engineers and production staff to implement system upgrades and modifications. Ensuring all maintenance and repair activities comply with safety regulations and company standards. Documenting all maintenance activities, parts used, and repair procedures. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a diploma or degree in a relevant engineering or technical field. Excellent problem-solving skills, a methodical approach to diagnostics, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are crucial. A strong understanding of safety protocols in an industrial environment is mandatory.
