About Us
Pronovea produces high-impact B2B events. We’re looking for a reliable freelance web developer who can design and build individual event microsites and also maintain & update our main corporate website.
What you’ll do
Design, build and launch individual event websites (desktop + mobile responsive). Maintain, update and optimise the main Pronovea website. Implement and customise WordPress themes and plugins. Write and maintain backend code in PHP when required. Integrate payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, local gateways as needed) and ticketing forms. Create, adapt and optimise website graphics (banners, hero images, social assets) for web. Troubleshoot bugs, ensure site security and perform regular backups and updates. Work independently, meet deadlines and communicate progress clearly.
Must-have skills
Strong experience with WordPress (themes, child themes, plugins). Proficient in PHP , HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript. Proven experience with payment gateway integrations . Ability to design or adapt web graphics (basic Photoshop / Figma / Canva skills). Experience launching event or microsites and working to tight event timelines. Portfolio of previous WordPress/event websites (required). Good English communication and ability to work autonomously.
Nice-to-have
Experience with headless WordPress or modern JS frameworks. Knowledge of SEO best practices and page-speed optimisation. Familiarity with ticketing platforms and CRM integrations. Experience with multisite WordPress setups.
Contract & Rates
Freelance/contract basis — per-project or monthly retainer depending on workload. Please include your availability , typical turnaround times , and rate/quote when applying.
