Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Director – AI SEO Expert to lead our SEO strategy with a strong focus on AI-driven optimization. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in technical SEO, content intelligence, large-scale search optimization, and AI-powered growth strategies. This role requires a visionary leader who can combine traditional SEO fundamentals with modern AI tools to drive sustainable organic growth. Key Responsibilities AI-Driven SEO Strategy & Leadership <ul><li>Develop and lead the overall AI-powered SEO strategy across all digital platforms.</li><li>Integrate AI/ML tools to automate keyword research, content planning, clustering, and SERP optimization.</li><li>Identify AI-based opportunities to scale SEO through predictive analytics and automated insights. </li></ul>Technical SEO Excellence <ul><li>Conduct advanced technical SEO audits, site speed improvements, schema implementation, and crawl optimization.</li><li>Work closely with engineering teams to ensure search-friendly architecture, log-file analysis, and site health optimization.</li><li>Oversee large-scale indexation, core web vitals, and mobile optimization. </li></ul>Content + AI Optimization <ul><li>Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Jasper, Surfer SEO, Frase, Clearscope, etc.) to guide content planning, generation, and optimization.</li><li>Oversee content clusters, topical authority mapping, and AI-assisted content briefs.</li><li>Ensure all content aligns with E-E-A-T and Google search quality guidelines. </li></ul>Leadership, Reporting & Collaboration <ul><li>Lead and mentor the entire SEO team (technical, on-page, off-page, content, analytics).</li><li>Collaborate with Product, Dev, Analytics, and Marketing leadership teams.</li><li>Build forecasting models, growth roadmaps, and monthly performance dashboards using AI analytics. </li></ul>Search Innovation & Growth <ul><li>Stay ahead of trends in Search Generative Experience (SGE), voice search, entity-based SEO, and semantic search.</li><li>Experiment with automation, custom AI models, and new search technologies.</li><li>Drive organic growth KPIs including traffic, rankings, conversions, and revenue impact. </li></ul>Required Skills & Experience <ul><li>10+ years in SEO with at least 3–5 years in leadership roles (Head/Director/Lead SEO).</li><li>Strong expertise using AI-powered SEO tools, automation, and machine learning workflows.</li><li>Deep understanding of Google algorithms, semantic SEO, SGE, and LLM-based search behavior.</li><li>Proven track record of driving organic growth for large websites or global brands.</li><li>Strong knowledge of:</li><li>Technical SEO</li><li>Advanced keyword strategy</li><li>Site architecture & schema</li><li>Analytics (GA4, GSC, Looker, BigQuery)</li><li>AI-assisted content optimization</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills. </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications <ul><li>Experience working in digital agencies or global SEO environments.</li><li>Knowledge of Python scripts for SEO automation (bonus).</li><li>Experience with enterprise-level SEO platforms (Ahrefs, SEMrush, BrightEdge, Conductor, Botify).</li><li>Experience integrating AI/ML into search workflows. </li></ul>Key Traits <ul><li>Strategic thinker with strong analytical mindset</li><li>Innovative and future-focused</li><li>Data-driven decision-maker</li><li>Strong ownership and accountability</li><li>Collaborative and high-performance leadership style</li></ul>
