Data Validation Quality Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Validation Quality Analyst to support a critical data migration initiative from on-premises SQL Server databases to Snowflake. The ideal candidate will ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency throughout the migration lifecycle by executing validation strategies, identifying discrepancies, and collaborating with technical teams to maintain high data quality standards.______________Key Responsibilities:• Execute and maintain data validation and reconciliation plans for database migration projects.• Analyze source (SQL Server) and target (Snowflake) data structures to identify discrepancies, anomalies, and data integrity issues.• Develop and execute test cases, validation scripts, and data comparison queries to ensure accurate data migration.• Use SQL extensively to extract, transform, and compare large datasets across environments.• Collaborate closely with DBAs, developers, and data engineers to troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues.• Document all findings, test results, discrepancies, resolutions, and best practices for continuous improvement.• Conduct post-migration validation and monitoring to ensure long-term data accuracy and reliability.• Contribute to the development of data validation frameworks and automation scripts for ongoing projects.______________Qualifications & Skills:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.• 4+ years of experience in data quality, validation, or testing roles—preferably within data migration or ETL environments.• Strong proficiency in SQL (T-SQL and Snowflake SQL) for large dataset validation.• Hands-on experience with data migration, ETL processes, or data warehousing.• Exposure to tools such as Informatica, Talend, or other ETL frameworks is a plus.• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.• Excellent documentation and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
