Cloud Engineer / Application Engineer

<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer/Cloud Architect with strong expertise in cloud technologies, application integrations, system design, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across multiple programming languages, cloud platforms, container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and modern web development frameworks. This role also requires team leadership and project/delivery management capabilities.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Cloud & DevOps</strong></p><ul><li>Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on <strong>GCP/Azure</strong> using <strong>Terraform, Helm</strong>, and <strong>Kubernetes (K8s)</strong>.</li><li>Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment.</li><li>Ensure cloud systems are scalable, secure, cost-effective, and aligned with architecture best practices.</li></ul><p><strong>Application & Integration Engineering</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and implement <strong>API design</strong>, API security standards, and REST-based integrations.</li><li>Work on application modernization and cloud-native development initiatives.</li><li>Implement best practices for application integrations across platforms.</li></ul><p><strong>System & Solution Architecture</strong></p><ul><li>Lead system design discussions and create high-level architecture for cloud and enterprise applications.</li><li>Provide architectural guidance for application development, integrations, and data workflows.</li><li>Collaborate with product, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure technical alignment.</li></ul><p><strong>Software Development</strong></p><ul><li>Develop applications using <strong>Java, C#, GoLang, or Python</strong>, depending on project requirements.</li><li>Build and maintain web-based solutions using <strong>React</strong> and modern front-end development standards.</li></ul><p><strong>Data & Backend Engineering</strong></p><ul><li>Design and implement scalable data workflows and pipelines.</li><li>Work with <strong>SQL</strong> and data engineering tools for analytics, reporting, and application support.</li></ul><p><strong>Leadership & Delivery</strong></p><ul><li>Lead cross-functional engineering teams to deliver projects within timelines and quality standards.</li><li>Mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence within the team.</li><li>Support project planning, estimation, and delivery management activities.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills & Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Strong hands-on experience with <strong>GCP/Azure DevOps</strong>, <strong>Terraform</strong>, <strong>Helm</strong>, <strong>Kubernetes</strong>, and cloud automation.</li><li>Expertise in <strong>CI/CD</strong>, build pipelines, and DevOps tools.</li><li>Deep understanding of <strong>API design</strong>, authentication, authorization, and <strong>RESTful services</strong>.</li><li>Strong foundation in <strong>system design</strong>, distributed systems, and cloud architecture.</li><li>Experience with <strong>Python</strong>, <strong>Java</strong>, <strong>C#</strong>, or <strong>GoLang</strong> for cloud and backend development.</li><li>Knowledge of <strong>React</strong> and web development technologies.</li><li>Strong SQL and data engineering experience.</li><li>Proven ability in <strong>team leadership</strong>, <strong>project management</strong>, or <strong>delivery leadership</strong>.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Cloud certifications (GCP/Azure)</li><li>Experience working in agile environments</li><li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills</li></ul><p></p>
