About the Role:
Our client, a rapidly growing enterprise in the specialty chemicals sector, is seeking a highly experienced Advanced Materials Manufacturing Specialist for their facility in Delhi, Delhi, IN . This is a non-remote position critical to scaling up the production of novel composite materials. You will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring quality control, and driving efficiency improvements. The role requires a hands-on approach, deep understanding of material science principles, and experience with advanced manufacturing techniques. You will work closely with R&D, engineering, and production teams to ensure seamless transition from lab-scale to full production. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and a passion for innovation in materials science.

Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of advanced materials production lines. Develop, implement, and refine manufacturing processes for new and existing materials. Ensure adherence to strict quality control standards and regulatory requirements. Monitor production yield, efficiency, and costs, identifying areas for improvement. Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions promptly. Collaborate with R&D scientists and engineers to scale up new material formulations and processes. Manage raw material inventory and supplier relationships for production needs. Train and mentor production staff on best practices and operating procedures. Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing all safety protocols and guidelines. Maintain accurate production records and generate regular reports on key performance indicators. Research and recommend new manufacturing technologies and equipment to enhance capabilities. Contribute to the continuous improvement of product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing, with a strong focus on advanced materials, composites, or specialty chemicals. Proven experience with process optimization, quality control (e.g., ISO standards), and lean manufacturing principles. Hands-on experience with various manufacturing techniques (e.g., extrusion, molding, curing, coating). Strong understanding of material properties, characterization techniques, and failure analysis. Familiarity with chemical processing and safety protocols. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) and ERP systems is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
